Logging in to Galleon

Your Galleon account is reached with a unique ID and password, and a second login factor is available if you want more protection. One account covers everything: slots, live tables, promotions, the VIP ladder and the cashier. Here is how signing in works, what you see once you are in, and what to do when it does not go to plan.

How to sign in

  1. Open the Galleon site, or tap the icon on your home screen.
  2. Click Sign in in the header.
  3. Enter your login details.
  4. If you have switched on 2FA, enter the code from your phone.
  5. Your balance and account menu appear.

Accounts are for adults of legal gambling age only. Each player is allowed one account; sharing an account or letting someone else use it is prohibited.

After you sign in

The header gives you Search, All Games, Promotions, Tournaments, the VIP Program, Live Chat, the language selector and Download App. Under My Account you manage your details and follow any verification that is in progress. If you are working through a bonus, check how much wagering is left and how many days remain; it is easy to forget a seven-day clock.

Adding a currency

Galleon supports several account currencies, from the euro and sterling to a range of cryptocurrencies. To play in more than one, go to My Account and choose Add Currency. Each currency keeps its own balance, so check which one is active before you deposit or claim a bonus.

Forgotten password

Click Sign in, then Forgotten Password, and enter the email address on your account. Galleon sends a recovery link that lets you set a new password. No email after a few minutes? Check spam, then ask the support team.

Never open a second account because you cannot get into the first. Duplicate accounts break the one-account rule and can lead to both being closed.

Signing in on mobile

Your login details are the same on every device. With the PWA installed, the icon opens Galleon directly at the sign-in page, and after the first login you usually stay signed in.

Two-factor authentication

2FA is optional, but it is the single most effective way to protect your balance. Once it is on, signing in needs both your password and a one-time code generated on your phone, so a stolen password alone is no longer enough. Keep any backup codes you are given somewhere safe and offline; without them, losing your phone can make signing in awkward.

Keeping your account secure

Galleon describes its encryption as industry standard, and access to player data inside the company is limited to named roles such as the money laundering officer, payments and anti-fraud analysts, support agents and VIP managers, all under confidentiality agreements. Your part is to keep the front door locked.

  • Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
  • Switch on 2FA.
  • Sign out on shared or public devices.
  • Check your transaction history now and then.
  • Report anything unfamiliar to support immediately.

Login problems

Start with the basics: is the email address right, is Caps Lock off, is your connection working? Try a different browser or clear the cache. If none of that helps, Live Chat is open around the clock.

Why an account might be restricted

Galleon can restrict, suspend or close an account over duplicates, shared IP addresses, account sharing, fraud, chargebacks, stolen cards, collusion, advantage play, bonus abuse, missing documents, replaceable bitcoin payments or a self-excluded person signing up. Closures for IP overlap carry no right of appeal, so avoid playing from a connection shared with other Galleon players. If you think a restriction is a mistake, contact support and ask what is needed.

Dormant accounts

Six months without activity makes an account dormant; Galleon may then close it and keep what is left, though support can reactivate it on request. If you plan a long break, withdraw your balance first.

Taking a break

For self-exclusion, see the page on safer play.

What happens when you sign in

Each login records some technical data: your IP location, browser and device details, and an entry in the activity logs. Galleon uses this to spot fraud and unusual access, and it is one reason why playing from a connection shared with other Galleon players can raise questions. If you travel or switch networks, there is nothing to worry about; just be aware that overlapping IP addresses between different accounts are treated as a red flag.

Checking your account after login

  • Balance and active currency.
  • Active bonuses, remaining wagering and expiry dates.
  • Pending withdrawals and their status.
  • Verification status in the Documents section.
  • Sea Points total and current rank.

A thirty-second check at the start of each session avoids most of the surprises players complain about, from expired bonuses to withdrawals held up by a missing document.

Shared and public devices

If you sign in on a computer that others use, sign out when you are done and do not let the browser save your password. On a public or work network, avoid entering payment details. Your account is personal, and Galleon's terms make you responsible for keeping it that way: account sharing and third-party access are prohibited.

Locked out after many attempts

If you enter the wrong password several times, wait a moment before trying again, then use the Forgotten Password route rather than guessing. If your email address itself has changed or you no longer have access to it, contact support through the web form and explain the situation; the team will ask for details to confirm the account is yours before making any change.

Software errors

If a game behaves oddly or a balance looks wrong after you sign in, report it to support straight away. Galleon's terms ask players to flag software errors immediately, and a player who knowingly takes advantage of one can be held liable. A quick message with a screenshot protects you as much as the casino.

Signing in with two-factor authentication

Once 2FA is active, the login screen asks for a second, time-limited code after your password. You generate it on your phone, usually through an authenticator app, and it changes every few seconds. That means a stolen password is useless on its own. If you get a new phone, set up the authenticator on it before you wipe the old one, or you may need support's help to regain access.

Changing your details

If your email address, phone number or home address changes, update your details or tell support. Galleon checks personal and payment details when you withdraw, and information that no longer matches your documents can hold up a payout. Some changes may require a fresh document, such as a new proof of address.

Signing out properly

Closing the browser tab does not always end your session. On a shared computer, use the sign-out option in the account menu every time, and do not let the browser remember your password. On your own phone with a lock screen, staying signed in is fine.

Why Galleon checks logins

What Galleon logs at sign-in, for example where you connect from and on which device, is used to detect fraud, account takeovers and duplicate accounts. That protects you as well as the casino: if someone else tried to sign in to your account from a new device, unusual activity is more likely to be noticed. It is also why Galleon asks for documents before paying out and may ask again when bonus funds were involved.

Getting help with access

If you are stuck, the quickest route is Live Chat, available at any hour. Give the email address on your account and describe what happens when you try to sign in. Support will never ask for your password, so do not share it, even with an agent.

Remembered logins and cookies

Galleon uses required, functional and advertising cookies. Required cookies keep you signed in and remember your session; blocking them in your browser is possible but makes the site harder to use, and may be why you are asked to sign in every time. Functional and advertising cookies are separate and cover preferences and marketing.

If you clear your browser data regularly, expect to sign in again each time, and keep your 2FA device to hand.

A routine that works

A simple routine makes signing in safer and keeps play under control. Sign in from your own device, check your balance, bonuses and any pending withdrawal, decide how long you will play, and sign out when you are done. If you find yourself signing in several times a day just to check, that is worth noticing; a short break or a self-exclusion period can help reset the habit.
